BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained at least 19 Palestinians during pre dawn raids on Thursday across the occupied West Bank, according to local sources and a report from the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
In the northern West Bank district of Jenin, Israeli forces detained five Palestinians. They were identified as Suhaib Jarir Jarrar, Ahmad al-Kastuni, Muhammad Nasri Shalabi, Mahmoud Nasri Shalabi and Salah Shalabi.
In Nablus, Israeli forces detained four Palestinians, according to PPS. Locals identified three of the detainees as Sarhan Rifaat Daraghmeh, Muhammad Harbi Daraghmeh and Abed al-Salam Dawabsheh.
Three Palestinians were detained from Tulkarem. They were identified as Majd Zeidan, Murad Makhluf and Yazan Mallah.
In the Ramallah district, Yaqoub Hani Ladawdeh was detained from al-Mazraa al-Gharbiyeh while Younis Khairi Bierat was detained from Kafr Malik.
In the Ramallah-area village of Deir Nitham, the home of 16-year-old Musaab al-Tamimi who was killed by Israeli forces in January, Israeli forces detained child Mustafa Saleh al-Tamimi.
This is the second time that al-Tamimi has been detained by Israeli forces in less than two months; he was previously held under house arrest for an unspecified period of time.
