Soldiers detains a former political prisoner from Ramallah

The Ramallah office of the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) has reported that Israeli soldiers invaded Beit Rima town, northwest of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, and kidnapped a former political prisoner. The soldiers also invaded villages and towns near Jenin.

The PPS said that several army vehicles invaded Beit Rima town, and kidnapped a former political prisoner, identified as Saddam Shaher Barghouthi, 26, after breaking into his home and violently searching it.

It is worth mentioning that, two days ago, the soldiers invaded many homes in Beit Rima, and kidnapped two young men, identified as Wisam Rimawi and Noureddin Barghouthi.

Also at dawn Thursday, the soldiers invaded Marka and Msalya village, in addition to Qabatia town, in the northern West Bank district of Jenin, and prevented the Palestinians from entering or leaving them.

Local sources said the soldiers surrounded the communities, and conducted large military drills.

On Thursday at dawn, the soldiers invaded Surif town, northwest of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, searched homes and kidnapped four Palestinians.

On Thursday morning, the army kidnapped a young Palestinian man from Silwan town, in occupied East Jerusalem, while on Wednesday at night, the soldiers kidnapped two children, in the city.

On Wednesday evening, the soldiers invaded Qabatia town, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, and kidnapped one Palestinian, identified as Sabri Kamil, after breaking into his home and searching it.
