WEST BANK, (PIC)-- PA security continue with its campaign against Hamas supporters in the West Bank, those forces arrested two supporters in Nablus and al-Khalil. Military courts extended the detention of others.
In the meantime the PA security continue to hold a number of political detainees despite court rulings that they should be released.
In al-Khalil, the preventive security arrested Sheikh Muhammad Eskafi, who is an ex-captive in occupation jails and a well known preacher and Imam.
The preventive security also arrested Muhammad Dhouqan, a student at the Najah University in Nablus and the son of prominent figure Ghassan Dhoqan
The magistrate court in Nablus extended by 15 days the detention of Dirar Hamadna, from Asira village and journalist Muhammad Aseeda from the village of Tel despite the fact that they have been detained for over a month and they have spent spells inside PA jails on a number of occasions.
The same court refused the release of Ala' Hawwash, who has been detained for 25 days.
Preventive security in Nablus continue to hold political detainees despite court rulings that they should be released as in the cases of journalist Muhammad Anwar Muna, Osama Halawa and Awni Shakhshir.
The same agency released Ramez Abu Salha, a former captive in occupation jails, after enduring sever torture during his detention by the PA.
The preventive security released Yaser Manna' from Nablus and Samer Odeh from Hawwara, after detention and torture by the PA.
The three freed detainees were detained previously on a political background where they spent more than a year inside PA jails.
