HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces carried our search and detention raids overnight Thursday and early Friday detaining 16 Palestinians in the Hebron district, locals said.
Locals told Ma'an that Israeli forces detained Fahmi Sami Ishaq al-Jaabari and Samer Hilmi al-Natsheh after searching their homes in the city of Hebron.
Israeli forces also detained Musaab and Sidqi al-Atrash near the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron's Old City after assaulting the two men.
In the town of Dura, 12 Palestinians were detained.
The detainees were identified as Hussein Muhammad Mustafa Amro, Yasser Abd al-Fattah Amro, Ismail Hassan al-Awawdeh, Ibrahim Raed Ibrahim al-Awawdeh, Izz al-Din Muhammad al-Masalmeh, Diyaa Majed al-Masalmeh, Masouf Muhammad Khalid al-Hroub, Ziad Mahmoud Moussa Masalmeh, Ismail Nayif Ismail Awwad, Ahmad Muhammad Mahmoud Masalmeh and Raed Othman al-Shawamreh in addition to Farhan Moussa Hussein Alqam, 54.

The home of a Palestinian suspected for killing two Israelis in Tel Aviv Thursday was raided in Dura later that evening by Israeli forces, who notified the suspect's family that their home would be demolished.
High numbers of Palestinian residents have been detained in arrest raids in Hebron this month, and over 1,000 Palestinians have been detained in occupied Palestinian territory since Oct. 1.
