BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- A Palestinian allegedly stabbed and injured a female Israeli settler in a supermarket in the illegal settlement bloc of Gush Etzion, south of Bethlehem, on Wednesday, Israeli media and police reported.
Israeli news site Ynet reported that Israeli forces detained the Palestinian suspect, who moderately wounded the Israeli woman in the popular Israeli supermarket chain Rami Levi.
Israeli police spokesperson Micky Rosenfeld confirmed the incident, saying a "terrorist" had been captured at the scene and the area was closed.
The attack came soon after a separate incident in which Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian in Hebron after allegedly attempting to stab an Israeli soldier.
No Israeli injuries were reported and eyewitnesses told Ma'an that Israeli soldiers planted a knife next to the suspect's body.
The victim was the 62nd Palestinian to be killed since the beginning of the month.
At least 10 Israelis have been killed in attacks by Palestinians in the same time period.
