Israeli soldiers kidnapped, on Saturday evening and Sunday, ten Palestinians in different parts of occupied Jerusalem, including five who were about to leave the Al-Aqsa Mosque, while many Palestinians have been injured in clashes with Israeli soldiers.
Nasser Qous, head of the Jerusalem Office of the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS), has reported that Israeli soldiers and police officers, stationed on the gates of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, have kidnapped five Palestinians, and took them to a nearby station.
Qous said the five have been identified as ‘Abada Najeeb, Mahmoud Najeeb, Mohammad Najeeb, Mohammad Abu Sneina and Abdul-Karim al-Haddad.
The soldiers also kidnapped another Palestinian, identified as Khaled al-Maghrebi, in Jerusalem’s Old City.
On Saturday night after midnight, soldiers detonated the main door of a home in Ein al-Louza neighborhood, in occupied Jerusalem, and searched the property before kidnapping Na’im Abu Sara, 18 years of age.
Also Saturday, soldiers kidnapped a Palestinian teen, identified as Mohammad Abu Hadwan, in the Bab al-Asbat Gate area (The Gate of the Tribes), and took him to a nearby base.
The army also kidnapped two children, identified as Abdullah al-Joulani, and Seri Wahba, in Khan az-Zeit, in Jerusalem’s Old City.
Clashes took place in the Shu’fat refugee camp, Sur Baher village, and Bab Hatta area, as hundreds of Palestinians protested the terrorist attack carried out by Israeli extremists, who fired bombed a Palestinian home in Douma village, near Nablus, causing a child to burn to death and seriously wounding his family, the Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Silwan (Silwanic) has reported.
Silwanic added that the soldiers detained, and interrogated three young men, in Bab Hatta, following clashes, and released them later.
Clashes also took place in the Shu’fat refugee camp, while several Israeli military jeeps also invaded Silwan town, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and occupied the rooftop of a Palestinian home.
On Saturday evening, the police released Amer Zeidani, 19 years of age, on a 750 New Israeli Shekels bail; he was kidnapped on Friday evening.
