BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained a Palestinian woman Sunday at the Al-Aqsa mosque compound, Israeli police said.

"A woman who caused a public disturbance this morning while groups were touring the compound was questioned by police and released after a few hours," Israeli police spokesperson Mickey Rosenfeld told Ma'an, adding that the woman had been shouting.

Sunday's detention came after several Palestinians were detained or barred from the compound by Israeli forces since the beginning of Ramadan.
