BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces on Monday detained five Palestinian fishermen and seized their fishing boat and took it to Ashdod port.

Israel's Channel 7 news reported that the Palestinian vessel was seized and its occupants detained after they crossed into Israeli regional water.

It said Israeli coast guards ordered the boat to stop but it didn't, so they opened fire at it before boarding.
