UPDATE:
BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Autopsy results for a young Palestinian man killed by Israeli forces near Bethlehem early Tuesday show that he was shot in the upper body at close range, a forensic expert told Ma'an.
Sabri al-Aloul said that the autopsy results show that 19-year-old Jihad al-Jaafari bled to death after being hit with an M16 bullet that penetrated his body through the left shoulder and struck his lungs before exiting and causing severe bleeding in his arteries and around his spine.
The killing was "similar to an execution" because he was shot from very close range, al-Aloul said.
The autopsy was performed between 10:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and adhered to international standards, he added.
He said the autopsy was significant given that the report could be used to hold Israel accountable in international courts.
Al-Jafaari's father Shehada had called for the autopsy in order to document what he called Israeli crimes and violations against Palestinians.
The teen was killed early Tuesday when Israeli soldiers were conducting arrest raids in Duheisha refugee camp.

(Reuters) - Israeli soldiers shot dead a Palestinian in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, the military and a Palestinian hospital official said.
Residents of the Deheishe refugee camp in Bethlehem said Palestinians threw stones at Israeli soldiers who had entered the area and the troops opened fire.
An Israeli military spokeswoman said the Palestinians hurled rocks, blocks and firebombs at the troops, wounding one soldier. "The force, feeling imminent danger to their lives, responded with fire toward an instigator," she added.
A Palestinian hospital official identified the dead man as 20-year-old Jihad al-Jaafari.
The Palestinians want to establish a state in East Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza, territories Israel captured in the 1967 Middle East war.
Israel annexed East Jerusalem in a move unrecognized internationally and in 2005 pulled out of Gaza, now controlled by Islamist Hamas and under an Israeli-Egyptian blockade.
The Israeli military remains in charge of the West Bank, allowing the Palestinians limited self-rule in certain areas, including the major urban centers.
U.S.-brokered peace talks between the sides broke down in April. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has since stepped up unilateral moves at the United Nations towards Palestinian statehood.

Israeli soldiers invaded, on Tuesday at dawn, the Deheishe refugee camp, in the West Bank district of Bethlehem, shot and killed a Palestinian teen, and wounded several others.
Medical sources said the slain young man has been identified as Jihad Shehada al-Ja’fary, 19 years of age.
The sources added that al-Ja’fary was shot by a live round that penetrated his left shoulder, and lodged in his chest causing a severe bleeding.
The soldiers prevented Palestinian medics from reaching the seriously wounded man, and he bled to death before the medics managed to move him to the al-Yamama hospital, in Bethlehem.
His body was then moved to the Beit Jala governmental hospital, and will later be moved to a forensic center.
The slain Palestinian was standing on his home’s rooftop, overlooking the main road, when he was shot.
Eyewitnesses said scores of soldiers invaded the camp in an attempt to kidnap a Palestinian, an issue that led to clashes between the soldiers and local youths who hurled stones and empty bottles on them.
The army fired gas bombs, rubber-coated metal bullets and rounds of live ammunition, causing several injuries.
