Description
NABLUS (Ma'an) -- Settlers attacked a Palestinian man in the Nablus-area village of Jalud on Tuesday evening, a Palestinian official said.
Ghassan Daghlas told Ma'an that Thaer Mahmoud Issa Daoud, 37, was hit over the head with an iron rod by a group of settlers.
He was taken to hospital for treatment.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are unclear.
In 2014, there were at least 329 incidents of settler violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, according to the UN.
More than 500,000 Israeli settlers live in settlements across the West Bank and East Jerusalem, in contravention of international law.
