NABLUS (Ma'an) -- A teenager was shot and injured by Palestinian Authority security forces during an arrest raid in Nablus overnight Thursday, locals said.

PA security forces raided al-Faraa refugee camp to arrest a wanted suspect and youths responded by throwing stones and an explosive device at them, locals said.

Security forces opened fire and hit Salem Bassam Shawish, 16, in the chest.

He was transferred for treatment to a hospital in Nablus and will receive further treatment in Ramallah on Friday.

In October, PA forces shot and killed Bilal al-Rajabi, 25, during an arrest raid in Hebron.
