GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces arrested a Palestinian man at the Erez crossing with Israel late Tuesday, Palestinian security sources told Ma'an.

Hasan Muhammad Muhanna was escorting his father, who was traveling to Israel for medical treatment, to the crossing when Israeli soldiers took him into custody.

The sources told Ma'an that Muhanna's sick father was denied entry following the arrest.
