JERUSALEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained six Palestinians, including three children, in East Jerusalem on Friday, a local group said.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center said Israeli forces raided the Silwan neighborhood early morning and detained Masud Zaytoun, 9, Ashraf Firas Burqan, 10, and Tamer Mazin Shweiki, 11.

The children were arrested for allegedly throwing rocks. Israeli forces fired stun grenades during the detentions.

Meanwhile, Israeli police detained three unidentified women at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound early Friday.
