JENIN, September 11, 2014 – (WAFA) – Israeli forces arrested Thursday 39 Palestinians from Jenin and Hebron districts, said security sources.

Israeli forces raided Fahma village to the south of Jenin, where they arrested 32 Palestinians after breaking into and ransacking their homes.

Forces, during the raid, fired concussion grenades and tear gas canisters at local residents, triggering clashes with them.

Meanwhile, soldiers stationed at flying military roadblock near Kafrit arrested a Palestinian who is a resident from Ya‘bad, a town located to the southwest of the city.

They also raided Kafr Dhan to the west of the city, where they arrested three Palestinians aged 16 and 17 years after breaking into and extensively searching their families’ homes.

Meanwhile in Hebron district, troops raided Beit Ummar to the north of the city, where they arrested a 16-year-old Palestinian after breaking into and ransacking his family’s home.

The teenager is still being treated for injuries he sustained after being shot by Israeli forces during last August.

Troops also arrested two Palestinians aged 24 and 40 years after breaking into their homes in at Farsh al-Hawa and Wadin al-Samn neighborhoods in Hebron city.

They also raided Abu Iktaila neighborhood in the city, where they broke into several homes and seized equipment from a local stone-cutting factory.

RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces raided a Palestinian village in the Jenin area in the northern West Bank Wednesday and detained 14 young Palestinian men, the Palestinian Prisoner's Society reported.

In a statement, the group said several Israeli military vehicles stormed the village of Fahma southwest of Jenin and detained 14 Palestinians including four brothers.

The detainees, according to the statement, are Ibrahim Muhammad Nawasra, Muhammad Asif Maraaba, Mahmoud Ahmad Maraaba, Imad Walid Nassar and his brothers Hamza, Khalid and Muhammad as well as Nathmi Bilal Saadma, Nizar Maraaba, Muhammad Tayseer Nawasra, Wajdi Mustafa Maraaba, Muhammad Ahmad Nawasra and Ibrahim Hasan Nawasra.

The statement added that Israeli forces detained Nimir Khalil Kilani from the same village while he was near Yaabad village.

An Israeli army spokeswoman said 35 were arrested in the Jenin area overnight.

Army Kidnaps 26 Palestinians In Jenin, 3 In Hebron

sraeli soldiers invaded the Fahma village, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, and kidnapped 26 Palestinians, including five brothers, and three more Palestinians in Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank.

The Jenin office of the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) has reported that dozens of soldiers invaded Fahma village, south of Jenin, fired rounds of live ammunition, concussion grenades and gas bombs before breaking into and ransacking dozens of homes.

The soldiers then kidnapped 26 Palestinians, including five brothers, and took them to a nearby Israeli military base. The kidnapped have been identified as:

Ibrahim Mohammad Nawasra, Mohammad Taiseer Nawasra, Mohammad Ahmad Nawasra, Ibrahim Hasan Nawasra, Khaled Nassar, his brothers Mohammad, Hamza, Imad and Walid, Mohammad Atef Mara’ba, Nidal Omar Mara’ba, Wajdi Mustafa Mara’ba, Nizar Omar Mara’ba, ‘Ayesh Mara’ba, Yousef Ayman Sa’abna, Shadi Hussein Sa’abna, Nathmi Bilal Sa’abna, Abdullah Ahmad Sa’abna, Nizar Omar Mara’ba, Ghassan Omar Mara’ba, Jawad Nayef Mara’ba, Ibrahim Hasan Majdeel, Abdul-Karim Adeeb Nawasra and Mahmoud Adeeb Hamdan.

In addition, soldiers invaded Hebron city and Beit Ummar nearby town, and kidnapped three Palestinians, including a child.

Local sources in Hebron said that the soldiers kidnapped Mahmoud Majed Zghayyar, 24, from his home in Farsh al-Hawa area in the city, and Ghazi Saleh Erfa’eyya, 40, in Wad as-Samn area.

The soldiers also invaded and ransacked several homes in Abu Kteila area, broke into a cement masonry and confiscated equipment from it.

In Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, soldiers invaded the home of Hussein Mustafa Abu Maria, and kidnapped his son Mohammad, 16 years of age, who was shot and injured by Israeli army fire last month, and is still in recovery.

The soldiers also invaded Deir Samet town, south of Hebron, installed a roadblock at its entrance, stopped and searched dozens of cars while interrogating several Palestinians and investigating their ID cards.
