NABLUS (Ma'an) -- A Palestinian teenager died on Monday from wounds sustained during clashes with Israeli forces earlier in August, medics said.
Hassan Hazim Abd al-Hamid Ashour, 16, died at Rafidia government hospital after fighting for his life since undergoing surgery on his liver, doctors said.
He was shot in the chest and abdomen by Israeli soldiers on Aug. 15 during clashes in Beit Furik.

14-year-old Hassan Ashour has died of wounds sustained during confrontations which erupted on Friday, in Beit Furik, east of Nablus, according to medical sources. At least seven Palestinians have been abducted by Israeli forces across the West Bank, on Monday.
The sources said the teen was shot with live ammunition which seriously injured his liver. Hassan underwent several surgeries, but died of his wounds this morning, WAFA has reported.

NABLUS, August 25, 2014 (WAFA) – A Palestinian teenager on Monday died of his wounds which he had sustained during confrontations that erupted on Friday in Beit Furik, to the east of Nablus, according to medical sources.
The sources said 14-year-old Hassan Ashour was shot with live ammunition and seriously injured in his liver during the confrontations. He underwent several surgeries but he died of his critical wounds on Monday morning.
