One youth was injured on Thursday night when a group of armed Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian wedding party at the village of Al Khadier near the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem.

Marwan Abu Swai, in his twenties, sustained critical wounds when a bullet fire by Israeli settlers hit him in his back and exited from is abdomen while he was at the wedding party, medical sources reported.

Abu Swai was moved to Bethlehem city hospital where he underwent a surgery, up until the time of this report no more information was available about his current health.

Local youth and residents clashed with the invading settlers and managed to force them out of the village. More than 10 Palestinians were killed last week due to Israeli attacks in different part of the West Bank.
