Tuesday, June 3, 2014] Palestinian sources have reported that Israeli soldiers invaded Palestinian communities near of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and kidnapped four Palestinians, including one child. Soldiers also kidnapped a Palestinian near Jenin.
The sources said several armored military jeeps invaded the al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron, kidnapped a child identified as Salama Suleiman Da’ajna, 16, and took him to an unknown destination.
Soldiers also invaded ath-Thaheriyya nearby town, and kidnapped Yousef Abdul-Fattah Abu Sharkh, 45 years of age.
Two Palestinians, identified as Omar Ahmad Abu Hleyyel, And Ra’fat Ismael Abu Hleyyel, from Doura town near Hebron, were kidnapped while on their way to the northern West Bank district of Qalqilia.
In related news, a number of Israeli settlers attacked, and struck, resident Rateb Ya’coub Abu Rmeila, 32, in the Tal Romeida neighborhood, in the center of Hebron city.
In addition, soldiers invaded Borqin and the al-Yamoun towns, near the northern West Bank city of Jenin, broke into homes and kidnapped one Palestinian.
Local sources in Borqin stated the soldiers kidnapped Mojahed Jalal Qash, 33, and took him to a nearby military base.
The army also invaded the al-Yamoun town, broke into and violently searched several homes, and interrogated the families.
In the Bethlehem district, soldiers closed the northern entrance of Teqoua’ town, southeast of the city, and blocked Palestinian traffic, preventing the residents from entering or leaving their town.
Teqoua’ Council head, Taiseer Abu Mfarreh, said the soldiers closed the northern entrance, close to the schools area, blocking Palestinian traffic and causing extended delays.
He added that the army frequently invades the town, firing gas bombs and concussion grenades, especially in the schools area, and frequently kidnaps young Palestinian men, and children.
