BETHLEHEM, April 30, 2014 (WAFA) – Israeli army on Wednesday fired tear gas canisters in the courtyards of two schools in the village of al-Khader to the south of Bethlehem, causing several cases of suffocation among students, according to local sources.
The sources said army fired tear gas canisters towards the two schools for no apparent reason, causing students to suffocate after inhaling tear gas. Soldiers also stormed the yards of the schools, causing a state of terror among students and teachers.
To be noted, the schools of the village of al-Khader, adjacent to the segregation wall, have repeatedly been under similar assaults by Israeli army soldiers, including the firing of tear gas and the continuous and provocative raids.
