HEBRON, April 21, 2014 (WAFA) – Israeli forces on Monday arrested three people during predawn raids and a search campaign in the districts of Hebron, Bethlehem and Jenin in the West Bank. Forces also turned a home into a military outpost, according to local and security sources.
In Hebron district, army forces arrested a local resident in the village of al-Burj after breaking into and searching his home. Forces also stormed the village of As-Samu’ to the south of Hebron, searched several homes and handed summons to a local resident to appear for interrogation before Israeli intelligence. No further arrests were reported in the area.
Meanwhile, army set military checkpoints in the area of Beit Einon to the northeast of Hebron and checked the identity cards of the passengers, which caused a traffic jam. Meanwhile in Jenin, Israeli army forces stormed the nearby Jenin camp and arrested a youth after searching his home. They also handed his brother, as well as another Palestinian summons to appear for interrogation at Salem military compound.
In Bethlehem, army forces arrested a 22-year-old after storming his home in the village of Taqu’. They also turned an adjacent home into a military outpost and installed military equipment in it.
