This is a message from Haj Sami, Mayor of Al Aqaba village. The Israeli supreme court banned live-fire training exercises in the village years ago, but they have picked up recently.

Generally, if there is an American present in the village, it works to call the US state department and report it. There isn't right now, so I'm not sure there is much to do, except stay informed.

Dear friends,

These are some pictures from this morning when israeli soldiers were training around the village, they were really close to some families. Kinder-garden, school students and everyone else were really afraid because of the bombs and shooting. Yesterday all night long there was training going on.Today we saw bulldozers, jeeps and soldiers in the green planting area.
