[Wednesday at Dawn, February 11, 2014] Israeli soldiers invaded a Palestinian home in the neighborhood of al-Bustan, in Silwan town, occupied Jerusalem, kidnapped a father and his son, and injured the child’s grandmother.
Local sources have reported that soldiers and Israeli Internal Security officers violently broke into the home of Edrees ash-Shalloudy, 43, and kidnapped him before assaulting and kidnapping his son, Abdul-Rahman, 20.
The sources added that the soldiers attacked family members and slammed the door on the hand of ash-Shalloudy’s mother, causing a severe injury which required hospitalization.
It is worth mentioning that the son, Abdul-Rahman, is a former political prisoner, who was released from the Negev Detention Camp on December 22, 2013, after a sixteen months imprisonment.
On Tuesday evening, soldiers kidnapped five Palestinian children, including two brothers, in different parts of occupied East Jerusalem.
