Palestinian cars were burned and graffiti reading "Blood will be spilled in Judea and Samaria" and "regards to John Kerry" were sprayed in an act of vandalism in the West Bank town of Dahiya al-Zaraa, near Ramallah, Tuesday morning.
The incident comes just two days before U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is scheduled to arrive in the region, and just hours after 26 Palestinian prisoners were released Monday night.
Police suspect Jewish settlers of hurling firebombs at three Palestinian cars and are currently investigating. No injuries were reported but the cars were severely damaged.
Kerry is due to arrive for another round of intensive talks in Jerusalem and Ramallah on Thursday, where he is expected to present a "framework agreement" or principles for resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
