QALQILIYA (Ma’an) – Israeli bulldozers started to level private Palestinian lands south of Qalqiliya in the northern West Bank slated for confiscation.

Witnesses told Ma’an that large numbers of Israeli troops deployed in the area between Ras Atiya and al-Dabaa villages south of Qalqiliya. The soldiers prevented Palestinian citizens from approaching the area where bulldozers leveled their fields.

Locals highlighted that Israeli forces had notified Palestinian owners of more than 15 donums (about 4 acres) that entry to the land was forbidden. The Israelis claimed that the land was a private property owned by Israeli citizens.
