Description
QALQILIYA (Ma'an) -- A man was injured and another arrested in clashes between Palestinians and Israeli forces in Kafr Qaddum on Tuesday, a local activist said.
Spokesman of the popular resistance committee Murad Eshtewi said Israeli forces raided the village on Tuesday afternoon firing tear gas, stun grenades, and rubber-coated steel bullets.
Ahmad Eshtewi, 22, was hit with a tear-gas canister in the hand, and Ghalib Hilmi Eshtewi, 21, was arrested in front of his home, the spokesman added.
Eshtewi explained that these raids come after threats by the Israeli army to retaliate against villagers with tear gas in response to their two-year-long protests.
