JENIN (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces raided Yabad and Jenin late Saturday and a village near Bethlehem early Sunday, detaining one, witnesses told Ma'an.
Two Israeli military patrols stationed on Haifa Street in Jenin raided an agricultural nursery belonging to Iyad Bashir around 10 p.m. and confiscated an agricultural tractor, locals said.
Also on Saturday night, Israeli soldiers reportedly entered Yabad village in western Jenin.
Witnesses told Ma'an that three Israeli military patrols raided the village, leading to clashes between Israeli forces and local Palestinians.
Palestinian security officials said that the soldiers left the village at 2 a.m. and that no injuries or detentions were reported.
Meanwhile, early Sunday, Israeli forces raided al-Ibadiya village east of Bethlehem and detained a teenage boy, family members said.
Israeli solders reportedly raided the house of Khalifa Ismael Radaida around 4 a.m., causing extensive damage to the house in the process.
The soldiers subsequently detained his son, Abed al-Rahman, 16, and took him to an unknown location, locals said.
A spokeswoman for the Israeli army said that two Palestinians were detained in al-Ibadiya, but had no further information on the reasons.
The internationally recognized Palestinian territories of which the West Bank and East Jerusalem form a part have been occupied by the Israeli military since 1967.
