RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained eight people in the occupied West Bank overnight Tuesday, Israel's army and locals said.
Israeli forces raided the Ramallah village of Deir Nidham and detained Majdi Yousif Tamimi, Ibrahim Ahmad Assaf, Humam Muhammad Tamimi and Jabir Abdul-Khalid Mizhir, all aged between 17-22.
Palestinian security officials told Ma'an that Israeli forces damaged several houses during the raids.
In Jenin, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Taleb Abu Baker at a flying checkpoint at the eastern entrance to the village of Yabad.
Abu Baker, who works with Palestinian security services, was taken to an unknown location.
Israeli forces detained his cousins, Jihad Muneer and Ahamd Ghaleb, several days ago.
An Israeli army spokeswoman told Ma'an that eight people were detained overnight, three in Hebron, three in Ramallah, and two in Jenin.

RAMALLAH, November 6, 2013 (WAFA) – Israeli soldiers Wednesday arrested eight Palestinians from various areas of the West Bank.
Security sources said soldiers arrested four young Palestinians ranging in age between 17 and 21 years in the Ramallah-area village of Deir Nizam.
Soldiers also arrested two people in Hebron, one of them, a 32-year-old man, was arrested after he was also beaten by settlers in the old city.
Israeli soldiers also raided the village of Jaba in the Jenin area and arrested a 40-year-old teacher and seized his personal computer and cell phone.
They also arrested one person from nearby village of Kufr Rai.
