HEBRON, October 9, 2013 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Wednesday arrested two Palestinians from the West Bank governorate of Hebron, three from Izzariyeh, two for being in Jerusalem without a permit and a minor from the Old City of Jerusalem, according to local and security sources.
They said that forces arrested two Palestinians in their early twenties from the Hebron area, including a released prisoner who was taken to Etzion military camp for interrogation.
Forces also set up checkpoints in several villages and towns in the Hebron governorate, stopping and checking identity cards of Palestinians.
Three Palestinians were also arrested following clashes that erupted on Tuesday night between Israeli forces and Palestinians in the town of Izzariyeh, southeast of Jerusalem.
Israeli police also arrested two Palestinian workers at a construction site in Jerusalem for being in the city without a permit.
They also arrested a 12-year-old minor from the Old City of Jerusalem.

NABLUS (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained four people in the West Bank overnight Wednesday, locals said.
Over 20 Israeli military vehicles raided the city and detained Mohammad Rajad Tawashi, 23, Mohammad Nanaa, 29, and Hafith Dwiekat, 26.
All three men were taken to an unknown location, witnesses said.
In al-Khader, Israeli forces raided the old town and detained Ahmad Ibrahim Mahmoud Salah, 15. Locals said that Israeli soldiers ransacked several homes in the neighborhood.
Ahmad Salah, coordinator of a local committee against Israeli settlements and the separation wall, wrote on his Facebook page that Israeli forces detained Wael Abu Suway while he was tending his land in the southern entrance to the town.
In Jerusalem, Israeli forces arrested two teenagers in the Silwan neighborhood, a local group said.
The Wadi al-Hilweh information center said Israeli forces raided Silwan at around 4 a.m. and detained Minther Rawiedi, 13, and Ahmad Abu Nad, 14.
Israeli forces raided the home of Fatah secretary general in Silwan Adnan Ghaith, and issued a summons order to his son Odai, 13, to come for questioning.
An Israeli army spokeswoman said one person was detained in Nilin, and one in el-Khader village near Bethlehem.
There are 180 Palestinian children imprisoned in Israeli jails, according to Addameer prisoners group.

Wednesday at dawn [October 9, 2013] Israeli soldiers invaded various areas in the occupied West Bank, including occupied East Jerusalem, and kidnapped several Palestinians, including a 12-year-old child.
Local sources in Al-Ezariyya town, southeast of occupied East Jerusalem, have reported that dozens of soldiers were deployed near an area of the Annexation Wall where several Palestinian youths previously managed to dig a hole in the wall.
The army said it noticed some Palestinians trying to breach the wall once again.
Soldiers chased the youths but could not apprehend them, and arrested three who were just walking in the area, eyewitnesses said.
Two of them have been identified as Ahmad Bassam and Daoud Abu Ar-Reesh.
Furthermore, soldiers broke into the home of Osama Hashmiyya, in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem, and kidnapped his twelve-year-old, Taha.
The father said that his son was taken to a police station for interrogation. The army did not provide any reason for the arrest.
Dozens of soldiers also invaded Wadi Hilweh neighborhood, in Silwan town, in occupied Jerusalem, kidnapped two construction workers and confiscated construction equipment.
Soldiers also handed a resident a military warrant ordering him to head to a nearby military base for interrogation.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center said that the soldiers broke into the home of Jawad Siyam, head of the media unit of the center, and searched it.
Soldiers further handed three families warrants informing them the army intends to demolish their homes, allegedly for building them without construction permits.
This is the second time the families receive those warrants in less than a month, the center said.
In related news, soldiers invaded Tal village, west of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and kidnapped five Palestinians.
Another Palestinian was also kidnapped in Beit Ummar town, north of the southern West bank city of Hebron.
Furthermore, several Israeli military jeeps invaded Al-Manshiyya area in Beit Jala, west of Bethlehem, and invaded Baq Zqaq area in Bethlehem.
