Description
JENIN (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces on Monday issued demolition orders to six Palestinian families living in Bardala village in the northern Jordan Valley, a local official said.
Aref Daraghmeh, the mayor of al-Maleh and the Bedouin dwellings, told Ma'an that Israeli forces raided the village in northern Tubas and handed demolition orders and stop-work orders to six families.
The orders gave the families until Nov. 11 to evacuate their homes, Daraghmeh said.
Israeli forces demolished several homes in the area two years ago, but village officials and Tubas municipality rebuilt the homes.
Israel has destroyed more than 500 Palestinian properties in the West Bank and mostly East Jerusalem since the beginning of this year, displacing 862 people, according to OCHA.
