The Ahrar Center for Prisoners Studies and Human Rights issued its monthly report revealing the Israeli soldiers shot and killed two Palestinians, and kidnapped 278, in September.

Ahrar said that Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, witnessed the largest number of arrests as the soldiers kidnapped 81 Palestinians, followed by Jerusalem, 62 arrests, Nablus, 32, Bethlehem, 30, Ramallah, 28, Jenin, 17, Qalqilia, 11, Salfit 7, Tulkarem, 5, and three in the Gaza Strip. Among the kidnapped were nine children below the age of 15.

A Palestinian woman, identified as Ayaat Mahfouth, was kidnapped near the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron after the army claimed she carried a knife, and another woman, identified as Tharwat Ghanem, from Tulkarem, was kidnapped as she was heading to visit her detained brother, imprisoned by Israel at the Negev detention camp.

The center stated that 21 of the detained Palestinians have been kidnapped on roadblocks, and border terminals.

Soldiers also kidnapped on journalist, identified as Mahmoud Abu Ata, head of the Media Department of the Al-Aqsa Foundation for Waqf and Heritage, in occupied Jerusalem.

On September 17, Israeli soldiers shot and killed one Palestinian, identified as Islam Tubasy, in the Jenin refugee camp, in the northern West Bank district of Jenin.

Tubasy was killed after dozens of soldiers invaded the camp, dozens of residents have been injured, many seriously.

On September 30, anther Palestinian, identified as Hweishel Ismael Abu Hweishel, was killed by Israeli military fire near the border fence, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

Dozens of Palestinians, including children, have been injured during the month of September, in numerous Israeli invasions, attacks and violations in different parts of occupied Palestine, including occupied Jerusalem.

Head of Ahrar Center, Fuad Al-Khoffash, stated that Israeli soldiers invade Palestinian communities in different part of the West Bank on a daily basis, and added that it is likely that more Palestinians have been kidnapped but the center could not document the arrests.

Al-Khoffash, a former political prisoner, added that the Palestinian face daily violations and abuse on dozens of Israeli military roadblocks spread across the West Bank.

Dozens of residents have been injured during the month of September, including dozens who were attacked by the army during weekly nonviolent protests against the Wall and Settlements.

It is worth mentioning that on August 31, resident Karim Sobhi Saleh, 17, from the Jenin refugee camp, died of wounds that he had sustained on August 20 when Israeli soldiers invaded the Jenin refugee camp.

The invasion led to clashes with local youths, and the army shot and killed one Palestinian, and seriously injured two others.

In August, soldiers kidnapped 250 Palestinians, including children, in different parts of occupied Palestine.

On September 29, the Ahrar center said that there are currently 90 detainees, held by Israel under arbitrary Administrative Detention order, without charges or trial. They are held in the Negev detention camp, Ofer prison, and Majiddo.
