Description
JORDAN VALLEY (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces demolished several agricultural buildings in the Jordan Valley on Tuesday, locals said.
Military vehicles and bulldozers arrived in the area of Furush Beit Dajan and al-Jiftlik and destroyed 10 agricultural buildings constructed before 1967, local activist Azzam al-Haj told Ma'an.
The structures were demolished on the pretext that they were built without a license. The buildings belonged to Ahmad Muhammad Abdullah Bsharat, Abed Mohammad Mahmoud Bani Oudeh and Mahmoud Bani Oudeh.
Both villages are located in Area C, where Israel has full control over planning, security and construction.
Less than 1 percent of Area C has been planned for Palestinian development, while 70 percent is included within the boundaries of the regional councils of illegal Israeli settlements.
