UNRWA announces building plans in the Gaza Strip

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- An UNRWA spokesman in Gaza said Friday that the Palestinian refugee agency plans to build 10,000 homes and 100 schools in the coastal strip over the next three years.Adnan Abu Hasneh said 51 UNRWA schools in Gaza would be completed by the end of the school year 2012-2013.
The statement said 222,000 students had registered for the upcoming academic year in UNRWA's Gaza schools.
