JENIN, July 25, 2013 (WAFA) – Three young Palestinians were injured Thursday in Jenin refugee camp during an Israeli army raid, said security sources.
They told WAFA that violent clashes broke out following the raid. Soldiers fired stun grenades and tear gas at stone throwing Palestinians injuring two teenagers, 18 and 19 years, from stun grenades shrapnel.
A16-year-old boy was also injured when hit by an army vehicle. He was transferred to hospital in Jenin with bruised hand. A number of tear gas suffocation cases were also reported.
In other developments, security sources told WAFA that Israeli soldiers arrested a Palestinian after raiding his home in Nablus.
They said confrontations erupted following the army raid resulting in minor injuries.
