RAMALLAH, July 4, 2013 (WAFA) – Israeli soldiers Thursday arrested eight Palestinians from Ramallah and five others, including a student sitting for the Tawjihi, high school matriculation, exam, from across the West Bank governorates of Hebron, Bethlehem and Jenin, according to local and security sources.
Soldiers raided at dawn the village of Budros, west of Ramallah, arrested eight Palestinians and summoned three others for interrogation, said sources.
Soldiers arrested 18 year-old Tawjihi student, Muhammad Morar, who is now in the middle of final exams, after raiding his family home, according to his mother.
Local sources said that Israeli forces arrested Kamal khalifa, 26, Ahmad Awad, 30, Abdullah Awad, 28, Abdul Nasser Morar, 42, Essrar Morar, 20, Sa’adat Awad, 34, and Muhammad E’layyan, 19, from the village.
They added that soldiers handed three Palestinians notices to appear at the intelligence of Ofer prison for interrogation, after raiding their homes, searching them and tampering with their contents.
Soldiers arrested Aref Ssalah, 24, from al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem, after raiding and searching his home, according to coordinator of anti-wall, anti-settlement committee in al-khader, Ahmad Ssalah.
Israeli forces launched searching and arresting campaign in several villages and towns of Hebron governorate, during which they arrested Muhammad Rob’ee, 30, from Yatta, a town south of Hebron, said security sources.
Security sources told WAFA that soldiers raided the town of Ya’bad, west of Jenin, amid firing bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters at residents which lead to clashes, causing several Palestinians suffocation cases.
They said soldiers arrested three Palestinians from the town; Majdi Herzullah, 23, Ez al-Deen Herzullah, 20, Muhammad Abu-Baker, 22, after raiding and searching their family homes.
