Israeli forces arrest 65-year-old man

HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces on Friday arrested a 65-year-old man from the Beit Ummar village north of Hebron, a local official said Friday.Yousef Abu Maria, spokesman for the local popular committee, said Ali Al-Duuda, 65, was taken from his home.
Abu Maria added that the arrest is an attempt to force Al-Duuda off of his land to make way for a new road for the illegal settlement of Kiryat Arba.
Israeli forces had erected a tent in Beit Ummar to pressure villagers to leave their lands and make way for the new settlement project, Abu Maria added.
