JENIN (Ma’an) -- Israeli forces detained four men from Jenin on Monday, residents said.
Israeli special forces raided the northern West Bank city and detained Shadi al-Darbi, 30, Hassan Meri, 19, Waseem Ortani, 18, and Sleiman Lahlouh, 20. Sleiman was later released.
Al-Derbi's father told Ma’an that Israeli troops surrounded the house and damaged an entrance gate using explosives. He said soldiers treated the family "brutally" and caused a "huge mess" before leaving.
He added that the soldiers harassed his son Ahmad and his wife.
Onlookers said police dogs attacked 70-year-old Ahmad al-Darbi and his seven-year-old grandson, Ali. Neither was injured.
An Israeli army spokeswoman said 14 people were arrested including the two in Jenin. She said during that raid, Palestinians hurled "two improvised grenades and one firebomb" at the soldiers.
She said soldiers arrested two Palestinians in Nablus, six in the Qalqiliya area, one in Qalandiya and three in the Hebron area.
Meanwhile locals said Israeli forces detained a woman and a teenager from Tulkarem.
Israeli forces raided the city and detained Dunia Haroun, 35, and Ali Issam, 18, from a western neighborhood in Tulkarem. Both were taken to an unknown location.

JENIN, May 27, 2013 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Monday arrested four Palestinians from the northern West Bank city of Jenin in addition to eight others, including a teenager, from the eastern part and the old town of Jerusalem, according to local and security sources.
They told WAFA that under cover Israeli army units, backed up by Israeli soldiers using police dogs, arrested four Palestinians from the Jenin area, including three between the ages of 18 and 20 after brutally raiding and searching their homes where they blew up the front doors amid firing tear and acoustic bombs toward the houses.
Shadi al-Darbi, one of the arrested mentioned above, was detained after a large military force blew up the front door of his family home, raided it and completely destroyed its contents. Forces unleashed the police dogs on al-Darbi’s family members, including his mother and his 62-year-old father, two brothers and sister, including a 7-year-old brother, who were all badly mauled by the dogs.
Forces also beat up his mother and his 27-year-old brother.
A large force of Israeli police brutally raided a Palestinian house in the town of Abu Dees, East of Jerusalem during the dawn hours where they broke down the front door, handcuffed and blindfolded the teen before arresting him.
Meanwhile, Israeli police arrested seven Palestinians from the old town of Jerusalem following clashes that erupted between the residents and Israeli police.
Israeli police brutally beat up a passerby when residents intervened to help him, leading to clashes between them, the arrest of seven Palestinians and the injury of several residents.
Police fired tear gas and acoustic bombs toward the residents, used force against the residents, injuring many, including a 58-year-old who was shot in the arm with a rubber bullet. Several residents were transferred to hospital for treatment.
A police force raided an internet café and forced the workers and customers to stand outside where they brutally beat them using clubs.
Police also raided several houses, breaking windows and front doors, as well as took over several roof tops of Palestinian-owned houses.
