GAZA, May 1, 2013 (WAFA) – Israeli navy boats sailing along the Gaza shores to enforce the seven-year-old blockade Wednesday opened fire at fishermen boats injuring one, according to witnesses.

They said the Israeli navy fired heavy artillery at the boats fishing along the coast within the area allowed to them by the blockade forcing them to return to shore.

Abdul Karim Baker, 50, was injured in the shooting and was taken to hospital for treatment, they said. He was reported in serious condition.
