Israeli forces release Hamas MP from Hebron

RAMALLAH (Ma’an) – Israeli authorities released on Wednesday Hamas lawmaker Nayef Al-Rujub from Hebron.The detainees’ center reported that Nayef was held in administrative detention for two and a half years.
The center added that Nayef was detained in December 2010.
He spent around 10 years at Israeli detention facilities at different times. Half of them were administrative detention.
In a statement, the center said that there are 14 Palestinian lawmakers in Israeli prisons.
They are Marwan Barghouti, Ahmad Saadat, Jamal Tirawi, Hasan Yousef, Muhammad Totah, Mahmoud al-Rimhi, Fathi al-Qarawi, Imad Nofal, Bassem al-Zaarir, Yasser Mansour, Ahmad Attoun, Hatem Kfeisha, Muhammad al-Tal and Muhammad Jamal al-Natsheh.
