JENIN (Ma’an) -- Israeli forces took over a Palestinian home in the al-Arqa village near Jenin in the northern West Bank on Thursday, locals said on the second day of Israeli operations in the area.
Soldiers took over Abdul Kareem Salameh's home, which is still under construction. The house located in the northern side of the village southwest Jenin. Israeli forces declared the site a closed military zone.
Meanwhile clashes erupted between Palestinians and Israeli forces, who fired stun grenades, in Yabad village near a primary school a day after Israeli forces confiscated property there.
Military jeeps arrived in Yabad village early Wednesday and took control of a property, installing surveillance cameras and placing an Israeli flag on the house.
An Israeli army spokeswoman did not immediately return calls.
