Saturday at dawn, January 26; Israeli soldiers invaded several areas in the northern West Bank district on Jenin, and detained two Palestinians.

Local sources in the Al-Yamoun village, near Jenin, reported that the army detained and interrogated two Palestinian youths after stopping them at a roadblock near an illegal Israeli settlement close to the nearby village of Ya’bod.

The two have been identified as Bara’ Mohammad Abu Baker, and Ahmad Tawfiq Abu Shamla.

The soldiers also broke into a number of homes, searched them, and interrogated several residents.

Furthermore, the army invaded the nearby villages and towns of 'Aanin, Ta’nak and Al-Yamoun, and drove around in their streets and alleys.

Also on Sunday at dawn, the army invaded the West Bank city of Bethlehem and kidnapped a Palestinian youth identified as Mohammad Omar Al-Hreimy, 19, from the As-Saff Street in the center of the city.

On Friday evening, Israeli soldiers kidnapped two Palestinians in Al-Fahs area, south of the southern West Bank city of Hebron.

The two have been identified as Jibreel, 22, and his brother Mos’ab, 20, they were kidnapped after the soldiers broke into their home and searched it.

Also, a settler sprayed gas in the face of a Palestinian youth identified as Mohammad Ishaq Abu Hitta, 17; the youth fainted and was treated by local medics.

HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained three people in the city of Hebron late Friday, locals said.

Jibril Abdul Hathim Abu Turki, 22, and his brother Mosam, 20, were detained during an arrest raid in southern Hebron.

Meanwhile, locals said that a settler attacked Muhammad Isaac Abu Hatta in Hebron on Friday while he was walking home with his sisters and mother.

The settler sprayed mace in Abu Hatta's face in full view of Israeli soldiers, who then arrested Abu Hatta and took him to an unknown location, witnesses said.

An Israeli army spokeswoman said there were no reports of any arrests overnight.
