Two days ago, Israeli soldiers kidnapped an 8-year-old child, from Al-Eesawiyya town, in occupied East Jerusalem, after claiming that he “hurled stones at their jeep”.

The soldiers chased the child, identified as Ali Dirbas, as he was heading back home from school, and grabbed him as he reached the main door of his family’s home.

Two young Palestinians tried to defend the child, and the army violently attacked them, and sprayed their faces with pepper-spray.

The army also attacked and pushed around several local women who gathered in an attempt to de-arrest the child as the police dragged him away. Soldiers also hurled several gas and concussion grenades at the residents, leading to a number of injuries.
