NABLUS, December 27, 2012 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers Thursday uprooted 40 Olive trees in the village of Kasra, south of Nablus in the West Bank, said to a local activist.
Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors settlement activities in the north of the West Bank, told WAFA that the settlers sneaked into the southern side of the village and uprooted the trees.
“These incidents indicate that a serious escalation in the settlers’ attacks especially in the south,” he said.
To be noted, this area is consistently targeted by extreme settlers who uproot and cut trees and vandalize Palestinians’ property.
