NABLUS, December 15, 2012 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers Saturday attacked the village of Urif, south of Nablus, provoking confrontations with its local residents, according to an activist.
Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors settlers’ activities in the north of the West Bank, said settlers attacked the outskirts of the village provoking the clashes while soldiers stationed in the nearby hills watched.
He said that the village has been targeted by settlers’ for the last few days.
Later reports said settlers threw rocks at Palestinian cars driving on the roads near Nablus.
There were no reports of injuries or damage in either case.
