12:00 Dec 13 2012 Bethlehem, near Aida refugee camp

Description
BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Two Palestinian children were detained by Israeli forces on Thursday afternoon during a protest against the killing of a teenager in Hebron a day earlier, according to witnesses.

A demonstration was held near Bethlehem's Aida refugee camp to condemn the fatal shooting of Muhammad Salaymeh in Hebron's Old City on Wednesday.

Israeli troops seized Hilmy al-Qaisi, 15, near the area, relatives told Ma'an. The other child was identified as 12-year-old Motasem al-Amir by Palestinian Authority news agency Wafa.

An Israeli army spokesman said he believed it was a police matter, but a police spokesman said he was not aware of the incident.
