NABLUS (Ma'an) -- Israeli settlers detained three Palestinians from a Nablus village on Wednesday, before handing them over to Israeli soldiers, a local official said.
Moen al-Dameidi, the mayor of Huwwara, told Ma'an that settlers assaulted three Palestinians who were harvesting olives in the village.
Nasser al Hajj Fayez, 40, his son Ezz, 18, and Tawfiq Odah, 30, were then forcibly detained and handed over to Israeli soldiers. The Palestinian liaison department is working to release them, al-Dameidi added.
