Description
RAMALLAH, November 17, 2012 (WAFA) – The Israeli military Friday re-arrested striking Palestinian prisoner Thaer Halahleh six months after his release from prison following 78 days of hunger strike, the Prisoners Club said in a statement.
It said a large Israeli army force arrested Halahleh from his Hebron house early Friday morning and that soldiers have attacked members of his family who tried to prevent his arrest.
Halahleh was released on June 5 after serving two years in administrative detention in Israeli jails. He went on hunger strike for 78 days and ended it only after the Israeli authorities agreed to release him at the end of his detention term.
