Description
BETHLEHEM, November 12, 2012 (WAFA) – Jewish settlers Monday stormed the village of al-Manshiyya, southeast of Bethlehem, attempted to burn a private-owned house and sprayed anti-Palestinian graffiti on another house, according to a local activist.
Coordinator of the National Committee against the Wall and Settlements in Bethlehem, Hassan Brijiyeh, told WAFA that a group of settlers stormed the village at dawn and poured gasoline on one house to burn it but the residents confronted and stoned them, forcing them to leave.
Settlers also sprayed anti-Palestinian graffiti on another house belonging to one of the residents.
Brijiyeh said residents have been targeted by settlers’ attacks, aiming to scare them off to force them to leave their land in order to seize it.
