SALFIT (Ma‘an) 3 June -- Israeli settlers raided a village near Salfit on Wednesday, and soldiers fired live bullets and gas canisters at residents of Yasuf who clashed with the settlers, onlookers said. Abed Ar-Rahman Saleh, head of the village council, said the settlers tried to damage farmland. Four Israeli military jeeps accompanied the settlers and installed a checkpoint, where they checked the IDs of those passing through and fired tear gas canisters at youths who threw stones.
