HEBRON (Ma’an) -- Israeli forces detained a 20-year-old man from northern Hebron on Thursday evening, locals and the army said.
Ibrahim Khalil Mahmoud Abu Dayya was seized by soldiers from his home in Safa, near Beit Ummar, after they raided his house, local popular committee spokesman Muhammad Ayyad Awad said.
An Israeli army spokesman said a man was detained on suspicion of trying to set fire to trees near the Kfar Etzion settlement near Safa, and was transferred to Israeli police custody.
