NABLUS, October 17, 2012 (WAFA) – Jewish settlers Wednesday beat an 18-year-old Palestinian while he was picking olives near the village of Iraq Burin, southwest of Nablus, according to witnesses.

They said settlers attacked Deeb Qadoos with sticks causing him bruises all over his body. He was transferred to hospital for treatment.

Jewish settlers also stole the olive crops from trees in the village of Qaryout, south of Nablus, according to Ghassan Douglas, a local activist.

He said settlers have escalated their attacks against residents and farmers in the Nablus area, particularly during the olive picking season.
