Description
JENIN (Ma'an) -- Israeli bulldozers started work on a new road in the northern Jordan Valley earlier this week, a local committee said.
Ahmad al-Asaad, head of the Tubas committee against settlements, told Ma'an that a large number of Israeli forces deployed in the area to guard the bulldozers while they leveled land for the road.
Israeli forces closed down the area to Palestinians without providing an explanation.
The land being leveled for the road belongs to Palestinians from the town of Tammun, south of Tubas.
